At Ziggy, we believe that feeding our cats well starts with knowing what's really in their bowl. To perfectly meet your furry friend's nutritional needs, each of our recipes has been developed by Dr Géraldine Blanchard, a veterinary specialised in feline nutrition for over 25 years.

Our delicious grain-free dry food for adult cats is very rich in premium animal protein with 44% chicken and pork (a meat ingredient very rich in protein). Enough to please even the fussiest of cats. (they told us so).

To this we added vegetables, minerals, essential fatty acids, vitamins and trace elements, carefully selected for a perfectly balanced recipe.

Our grain-free dry good is very low in carbs and phosphorus (only 0.77%) to preserve kidney function. The quality and controlled quantity of our ingredients, and above all our proteins, provide cats with excellent satiety while perfectly meeting their nutritional requirements, enabling your cat to return to a healthy weight. FAQabout Ziggy food for cats

Nos croquettes et pâtées ne sont pas exclusivement destinées aux chats adultes stérilisés. Nous avons différentes gammes de produits :

💛 Pour Chatons (jusqu'à 12 mois) : Vous trouverez des pâtées pour chaton ainsi que des croquettes pour chaton. Ils sont formulés pour permettre aussi de bien nourrir un chaton stérilisé, mais la quantité devra être ajustée.

😻 Pour Chats Adultes : Vous trouverez toute une gamme de recettes de pâtées pour chat adulte ainsi que de croquettes pour chat adulte qui peuvent être consommées par des chats adultes stérilisés ou entiers.
La pâtée Chat adulte entier est un peu plus calorique que celles pour les adultes stérilisés, c'est pourquoi nous ajoutons cette mention sur nos produits.
Le besoin nutritionnel du chat adulte, qu'il soit stérilisé ou entier reste le même. C'est le besoin calorique qui va diminuer de 20% après stérilisation.
L'idée sera donc simplement de bien ajuster les quantités quotidiennes en fonction du besoin calorique de votre chat.Pour cela vous pouvez utiliser notre Calculateur de rations journalières.

💙 Pour Chats avec pathologie : Nous avons élaboré une gamme Vet afin d'accompagner les chats diabétiques, les chats insuffisants rénaux ou encore les chats souffrant de troubles urinaires. Nous travaillons de futurs produits afin d'accompagner les chats avec d'autres pathologies dans leur quotidien.

Nos recettes ont été formulées par le Dr Vétérinaire Géraldine Blanchard, spécialiste en nutrition féline. Nous proposons donc aujourd'hui des pâtées qualitatives qui prennent en compte les connaissances les plus avancées en nutrition féline.

Nous tenons à vous rassurer, la tomate (le fruit) n’est pas toxique pour les chiens et chats.

C’est la solanine, contenue dans la tige de l’arbre à tomate qui peut leur être toxique, le parallèle entre les deux peut être fait, mais c’est une erreur, et aucune étude scientifique ne va dans ce sens, bien au contraire. Vous noterez d’ailleurs que beaucoup de plantes et/aliments crus ou racines sont toxiques aux chats (muguet, peau de pomme de terre crue, arbre de l’avocat...).

Chez Ziggy, nous basons la formulation de nos recettes uniquement sur des faits et études scientifiques et non sur des idées marketing (pour information, il est formellement interdit d’utiliser des aliments « toxiques » pour les chats en Petfood, bien-sûr !)

Ainsi, la tomate est en réalité tout à fait consommable par les chats et très largement utilisée en Petfood à travers le monde, elle regorge de fibres, de vitamines C, d’acide folique, de potassium et de vitamine K1.
